Toxicity: Acute oral LD50: male rats 2787 mg / kg, female rats 1568 mg / kg, male mice 2218 mg / kg, female mice 2783 mg / kg; rabbit acute percutaneous LD50 > 2000 mg / kg. It is mild to the skin and irritating to the eyes. Acute inhalation LC50 (4 hours) in rats: Not lethal in saturated steam. The no-effect dose was 7.5 mg/kg body weight. Fish LC50: rainbow trout (96 hours) 9.2 mg/l, salmon (48 hours) 8.6 mg/l.
Uses: It is a phenylurea plant growth regulator with cytokinin activity, which is 10-100 times more biologically active than 6-benzylaminopurine.
